Gary Batten (Owner/President) Eagle Springs, NC
Mr. Batten graduated from Appalachian State University in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. In 1969 Mr. Batten joined the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and received an early retirement in 1983. In January, 1984, Mr. Batten began Batten Investigations and Security Service, Inc., which became solely an investigative company in November, 2000. He is currently licensed by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to conduct investigations in North and South Carolina. Mr. Batten is an active member in the World Association of Detectives, the World Investigators Network, the North Carolina Insurance Crime Information Exchange, the South Carolina Association of Legal Investigators, and is a past president and active member of the Society of Former North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations Agents.
Brian Casey (Investigative Supervisor/Vice President) Eagle Springs, NC
Mr. Casey graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology in May, 1996, and has completed a program in Marketing and Management. Mr. Casey began full time employment with Batten Investigations in June, 1996, as a Private Investigator. Mr. Casey is licensed by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to conduct investigations in North and South Carolina.
Jeanna Batten Casey Eagle Springs, NC
Ms. Casey is the daughter of Gary Batten and began part-time employment with Batten Investigations in an administrative capacity in June, 1988. Ms. Casey became a full time employee after graduating from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in May, 1993, and received her Private Investigators license in June, 1995. Ms. Casey is licensed by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board to conduct investigations in North Carolina only.
Enos Harold Hunley Southern Pines, NC
After a career in the United States Army from 1963-1970, Mr. Hunley joined the Newport News Police Academy and graduated in 1970. He served as a Newport News Police Officer until November, 1971, when he moved to North Carolina. He joined the Southern Pines Police Department in July, 1972, and worked as a Patrol Officer until June, 1978, when he became a Detective. Mr. Hunley was promoted to Lieutenant in Charge of Investigations with the Southern Pines Police Department in 1988 and continued in that capacity until March, 2000, when he retired. Mr. Hunley became a Private Investigator with Batten Investigations in May, 2002, and is licensed by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board to conduct investigations in North Carolina only.
Donald Edwin Snell West End, NC
Mr. Snell began employment with Batten Investigations in May, 2004. He is licensed as a Private Investigator with the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board to conduct investigations in North Carolina only. He retired in April 2001, from the State of New York as the Chief Environmental Conservation Captain where he was the commander of Police operations in an eleven county region. He has brought the expertise of Environmental Investigations to Batten Investigations, Inc., which is a new area of work for this company. |
